About me
Hello, my name is Elmunzar Bagouri, I am a trauma and revision arthroplasty consultant.
In my clinic , I had my specialised orthopaedic training in North Yorkshire's renowned rotation, before completing a fellowship in complex trauma at Kings College Hospital. My training then took me to one of the busiest centres in North America, where I performed arthroplasty on complex primaries and revision cases at the Holland Centre- Sunnybrook Hospital, in Toronto- Canada.
In my clinic�I see trauma patients and patients with hip and knee pain and arthritis. I perform hip and knee replacement surgeries, as well as revision surgery on patients who have had a previous replacement procedure. I manage these patients along with an excellent team of anaesthetists and physiotherapists.
I also see private and insured patients in the Spire hospitals.
I am committed to training the next generations of orthopaedic surgeons, part of the interview panel in our trust and nationally and I am in the Royal college of Surgeons of England board of examiners. In addition to that I am a member of the OTA CME subcommittee for conflict of interest (The OTA is the North American organisation for trauma surgery and one of the leading organisations in setting standards internationally for trauma care)
I am also interested in research with many of my studies presented in national and international meetings.
