About me

Qualified RCSI, 1984. Dublin ENT registrar training programme: FRCSI in ENT, 1989. Masters degree in surgery (MCh), following 2 year fellowship in laser techniques in head and neck surgery at Laser Centre, Dept of Surgery, University College London. Senior Registrar in ENT, Royal Free Hospital and Royal Surrey County Hospitals, 1993-1996. FRCS(ORL) November 1995. Awarded FRCSEd April 1999. Consultant Otolaryngologist/Head and Neck Surgeon, Royal Infirmary Edinburgh and Honorary Senior Lecturer, University of Edinburgh, 1996-2001. Fellowship examiner RCSEd.

Consultant appointment at Charing Cross/Chelsea and Westminster Hospitals, June 2001 Appointed Lead Clinician for ENT/Head and Neck Surgery at Imperial College NHS Trust, August 2008- 2011. Previously Chief of Service, ENT/Head and Neck Surgery, Charing Cross Hospital, January 2007 - July 2008, and Clinical Lead in ENT, Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, 2003 - 2006.

Special interests include endoscopic sinus and skull base surgery, septal and rhinoplasty surgery, benign head and neck surgery, paediatric ENT surgery.
