About me
Dr. Crowe is a Consultant Interventional Radiologist with private practices in Birmingham and London.
He has special interests in vascular and urological radiology and uterine artery embolisation for fibroids. He undertakes ultrasound, CT and MRI scanning as well as a wide range of minimally invasive interventional radiology procedures for both NHS and private patients.
Dr. Crowe attended Trinity College Medical School in Dublin, graduating in 1988. After medical jobs in Dublin, Manchester and the Middle East he undertook 5 years of specialist training in Radiology in Birmingham followed by further sub speciality training in Interventional Radiology.
Dr. Crowe actively participates in teaching and research and is the lead Interventional Radiology Trainer for the West Midlands Radiology Training Scheme. He is an invited speaker at various national meetings and conferences.
He sits on various local committees including the Heart of England NHS Trust Novel Therapeutics committee and has held posts in national organisations, e.g. Chair of the Communications Committee of the British Society of Interventional Radiology (BSIR). He is an international adviser to the Fibroid Relief organisation.
