About me
I am a Clinical Psychologist working with children, adolescents, and adults, with experience across a range of emotional, behavioural, and developmental needs. My work is grounded in both NHS and private settings, where I have supported people of all ages navigating anxiety, OCD, low mood, grief and loss, neurodivergence (including ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder), sexual problems, relationship difficulties and challenges with self-esteem and identity.
I am particularly interested in how early experiences, relationships, and environments shape how we see ourselves and relate to others. I aim to create a space where you feel understood, respected, and able to explore your experiences at your own pace. I value warmth, curiosity, and collaboration in my work, and I tailor therapy to each individual and family I meet.
My therapeutic approach is integrative, drawing on evidence-based models such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), and systemic and attachment-informed approaches. My clinical psychology training equips me to work flexibly, and I've seen how effective it can be to combine elements from multiple models to meet each individual's unique needs and goals. If you had a specific therapeutic model in mind that you want to focus on, we can certainly discuss this and see if I am the right psychologist for you to work with.
Building a trusting, open therapeutic relationship is central to how I work and supports the foundation for meaningful change. Alongside developing practical strategies for managing emotions and challenges, I also support clients in making sense of their experiences, strengthening self-compassion, and building a more secure sense of self. Where helpful, I work collaboratively with parents and families to support change beyond the therapy room.
