About me

I am a clinical psychologist who works with people of all ages to help navigate their mental health journey. My approach focuses on providing compassionate, personalised care to every person I work with.

I offer online sessions exclusively. Online therapy allows you to access professional support from the comfort and convenience of your own space. Research shows that online therapy is just as effective as in-person therapy and can make it easier to fit sessions into your schedule.

In terms of my academic journey, I completed my Doctorate of Clinical Psychology at Royal Holloway, University of London. Prior to my clinical training, I earned my undergraduate degree in Experimental Psychology at the University of Bristol and my Master's in Clinical Mental Health Sciences at University College London.

I have a wealth of experience in various psychological and healthcare settings within the NHS, third sector, and private sector, including:

Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services: supporting children and young people with mental health difficulties (e.g., OCD, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, eating and body image difficulties, often alongside neurodiversity) and assisting parents with their child's behavioural challenges.

Eating disorder services for children and young people, involving both individual and family work.
Conducting ADHD, Autism Spectrum Condition, and Learning Disability assessments in CAMHS and Adult NHS services.

Community Adult NHS services addressing sexual problems (e.g., painful sex, low desire, intimacy issues), sexual health, and HIV.

Private therapy for adults dealing with depression, anxiety, OCD, PTSD, anger-related difficulties, or grief.

What will it be like when I meet you?

When you meet me, you'll find a warm, empathetic, and non-judgmental professional who cares about your well-being and story. I aim to create a safe and supportive space where you feel comfortable and empowered to share what's on your mind.

At the beginning, it's helpful for us to get to know each other and for you to decide if I'm the right fit for you. Some people come to therapy with clear goals, while others are unsure where to startand that's perfectly okay. Together, we'll make sense of your difficulties and think about how positive changes can be made.
You might prefer a short-term intervention of 6-16 sessions or longer-term, ongoing exploratory psychotherapy. We can discuss your preferences and agree on a regular schedule that suits you.

What therapies do you use and what kind of difficulties do you help people with?

I have supported people of all ages with various psychological difficulties, including anxiety, depression, OCD, PTSD, grief, relationship difficulties, emotional regulation, and anger-related challenges. I have a particular interest in working with adolescents and young adults struggling with mental health issues, neurodivergent individuals who may need adaptations to standard therapy sessions, individuals with eating and body image difficulties, and adults experiencing sexual problems (e.g., painful sex or low desire).

I take an integrative approach to therapy, meaning I draw on different evidence-based approaches to help you achieve your goals. My clinical psychology training equips me to deliver a range of therapies, and I've seen how effective it can be to combine elements from multiple models to meet each individual's unique needs. If you had a specific therapeutic model in mind that you want to focus on, we can certainly discuss this and see if I am the right psychologist for you to work with.

What are your interests outside of psychology?

When I'm not working, I love spending time with friends and family, enjoying good food, and discovering new places to eat. Cooking is one of my favourite ways to unwind, especially when shared with others. I also love to travel and feel fortunate to live near the beach, where I enjoy swimming or walking by the sea.
