About me
I have been a Consultant Radiologist undertaking all aspects of general imaging and breast imaging since 1999.
Since 2006 I have sub-specialised in all aspects of breast imaging (mammography, ultrasound, MRI) and image guided biopsy. I undertake both symptomatic breast work and breast cancer screening work. I am the Clinical Lead for Breast Test Wales (the NHS breast cancer screening service) based in Cardiff, and the Radiology Lead for symptomatic breast services in Cardiff and Vale UHB.
I undertake all forms of image guided breast and axillary biopsy, as well as image guided vacuum-assisted biopsies and excisions under local anaesthetic cover. This can provide an alternative to surgery in some instances.
As well as working in the NHS, I undertake private work in Cardiff at Spire Hospital Cardiff.
