About me

I am a Consultant Neurologist with over 20 years of experience. I assess and treat people with a wide range of neurological symptoms. These are conditions that affect the brain, nerves and muscles.

I run general neurology clinics in Nottingham and Derby. I have over 15 years of experience managing both short-term (acute) and long?term (chronic) conditions.

I am an Honorary Associate Professor in Clinical Neurology at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust. I am also Clinical Director of the International Centre for Excellence in Parkinson's Disease at the University of Nottingham.

I have also worked as a neurologist in a specialist service for memory and dementia. This has given me strong experience in assessing memory problems and managing dementia, including complex cases.

I diagnose and treat a wide range of neurological conditions, including:

General neurology conditions
Headaches and migraine
Parkinson's disease and tremor
Memory problems and dementia
Nerve pain (neuralgia)
I am particularly well known for my work in Parkinson's disease. I have a national and international reputation in this area.
