About me

Welcome, my name is Bne (pronounced Beanie), and I'm a Counselling Psychologist. I'm honoured to work with adults and couples as they navigate life's challenges. Whatever has brought you to therapy, my intention is to offer a warm and compassionate environment where you can turn inward, understand yourself more deeply, and make sense of life's complexities.

My approach is integrative and deeply relational. I draw from a range of perspectives to support each person's unique process, including Internal Family Systems (IFS), which helps us connect with the different parts of ourselves and understand how they shape the way we think, feel, and relate. I also work with Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) when supporting couples, helping partners move from reactive cycles toward greater understanding and emotional connection. Alongside this, I integrate person-centred, psychodynamic, and attachment-focused approaches, and offer EMDR therapy, an evidence-based method that supports the mind and body in processing trauma and distressing experiences.

Much like my approach to life, my therapeutic style is down-to-earth, open, and real. I value genuine connection and see therapy as a space for curiosity, clarity, and growth. My hope is to co-create a collaborative environment where every part of you feels welcome, understood, and met with care.

I'm committed to providing an affirming and culturally responsive space where every person, and every part of them, feels seen and valued, including those who identify as LGBTQIA+, neurodivergent, or part of diverse relationship structures and cultural backgrounds.
