About me

I hold a Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling and a Masters degree in Counselling & Psychotherapy. I have undertaken specialist additional training on working with eating disorders, trauma, pregnancy & infant loss and working with neurodivergent clients.

Before becoming a psychotherapist, I worked in the Financial Services and insurance industries for a number of years. Having experienced those working environments myself, I understand some of the pressures and challenges that can come with them.

I am an accredited member of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy and hold a current enhanced DBS certificate and am fully insured.

I work from dedicated counselling rooms in Dean Clough in Halifax which is within walking distance of both Halifax train station and bus station. Dean Clough also has a number of pay and display car parks.

Text message or email is the quickest way of reaching me as I am usually in session so unable to take phone calls. If you leave me a message I will get back to you to arrange a mutually convenient time to have an initial phone call.
