About me

My name is Chris, and I am a clinical psychologist working with adults and couples. My work is grounded in depth-oriented, attachment-focused therapy, supporting people who want to understand not only what is happening in their lives, but why familiar emotional and relational patterns persist.

I work primarily with individuals and couples where early relational experiences, trauma, or chronic stress continue to shape emotions, relationships, and a sense of self. This often includes attachment trauma, complex trauma, and relationship difficulties, as well as the emotional impact of neurodivergence in adulthood.

My approach integrates attachment-focused EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and psychodynamic therapy. Rather than applying techniques in a formulaic way, I prioritise pacing, safety, and the therapeutic relationship itself as central mechanisms of change. Therapy with me tends to be reflective, collaborative, and depth-focused, rather than solution-driven or short-term.

I have particular experience adapting EMDR and IFS for neurodivergent individuals, including Autistic and ADHD adults, where standard therapeutic approaches may feel inaccessible or misattuned. I also work with couples where one or both partners are neurodivergent, supporting clearer communication, emotional safety, and relational understanding.

My therapeutic style is grounded, direct, and relational. I value honesty, emotional depth, and thoughtful exploration, and I aim to create a contained, respectful space where meaningful psychological work can unfold over time.

I am committed to providing an affirming and culturally responsive space for LGBTQIA+ individuals, neurodivergent clients, people in diverse relationship structures, and clients from varied cultural and racial backgrounds.
