About me

Ms Shabana Syed is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist in London with over 20 years of clinical experience in women's health. She holds a substantive consultant post at The Hillingdon Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and provides expert private gynaecology and menopause care.

She completed her medical degree and postgraduate training in India, before continuing her specialist training in the UK as a Senior Clinical Fellow at St Mary's Hospital, Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, London.

Ms Syed has extensive experience in the diagnosis and management of a wide range of gynaecological conditions, including perimenopause and menopause, fertility problems and recurrent miscarriage, early pregnancy and emergency gynaecology, menstrual disorders, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), fibroids, ovarian cysts, and chronic pelvic pain. She also offers treatment for premenstrual syndrome (PMS), premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD), and provides contraception services.

She offers comprehensive Well Woman health screening, including gynaecological ultrasound, cervical smear testing, and relevant blood tests, supporting accurate diagnosis and personalised treatment planning.

Ms Syed is a British Menopause Society�recognised Menopause Specialist and holds an Advanced Certificate in Menopause Care. She is a Member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG).

She speaks Hindi, Urdu and Kannada, enabling her to support patients from diverse backgrounds. Her practice is grounded in evidence-based medicine, with a patient-centred, holistic approach tailored to each individual's needs.
