About me
Are you struggling to cope with anxiety or low mood? Cognitive behavioural therapy is type of talking therapy that can help manage your difficulties by changing the way you think and behave. Therapy can help you to make sense of your feelings and allow you to develop positive coping strategies.
I am experienced in providing both group/ individual therapy in both inpatient and outpatient settings in the NHS, charitable organisations and the private sector.
I am person centred in my approach which means that I put you the client at the centre of everything that I do and provide an empathic and non-judgemental space. I understand that it can be daunting reaching out for support and I am skilled at putting clients at ease.
I am passionate about empowering clients to help them overcome difficulties and lead more meaningful lives. I empower my clients by working collaboratively to establish goals and use evidence-based treatment to provide you with tools and techniques to improve your mental health and wellbeing.
I follow the recommended NICE guidelines and treatment models. I am also specially trained to work trans diagnostically across models to produce personalised treatment plans to meet your needs.
I am an accredited member of the BABCP and abide by their ethical guidelines and policies. I have full public indemnity insurance to work as a Therapist in the UK.
