About me
Mr Dheeraj Karamchandani is a Consultant ENT Surgeon with over 20 years of experience, specialising in Rhinology, Skull Base Surgery, and Facial Plastics, as well as managing a broad spectrum of general ENT conditions for both adults and children. After completing his medical degree at University of Birmingham, he pursued advanced fellowship training in complex nasal, sinus, and skull base procedures. He currently serves as a consultant at University Hospital Coventry and Warwick, where he leads specialist clinics focusing on olfactory disorders and complex ENT cases.
In his private practice, Mr Karamchandani provides expert care for conditions such as nasal obstruction, septal perforations, allergic rhinitis, and nasal polyps, in addition to general ENT issues like hearing loss, tinnitus, balance disorders, blocked ears, snoring, sleep apnoea, and neck lumps. Renowned for his meticulous and compassionate approach, he tailors treatment plans to suit each patient's unique needs.
An advocate for medical education, he is Chairman of SFO ENT UK and a Royal College of Surgeons tutor. He also holds the role of treasurer for YCOHNS and directs several surgical courses, including an FRCS viva course in the West Midlands. His research interests include integrating innovative technologies like 3D printing and augmented reality into clinical practice, showcasing his dedication to advancing the field.
