About me

Hi, I'm Clare, I am a fully qualified humanistic counsellor and I offer short and long term online and telephone counselling on a 1:1 basis. Every individual is unique, and so are their challenges. I will work collaboratively with you to develop personalised strategies that empower you to overcome obstacles and achieve your goals.

Where healing begins and personal growth flourishes. I am here to support you on your journey to emotional well-being and self-discovery.

I trained as a Humanistic counsellor and I integrate other models of counselling such as Solution Focussed Brief Therapy (SFBT), Transactional Analysis (TA) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). I have experience in long and short term therapy and also Single Session Therapy.

I understand that life's challenges can be overwhelming, and seeking help is a courageous first step. Whether you're navigating through relationship issues, dealing with anxiety or depression, or simply seeking personal growth, I am compassionate and skilled to guide you.

You may feel that it's time for you to talk to someone, to offload in a confidential and impartial space, vent, process thoughts and feelings, or try to find a solution. Whatever you are struggling with and whatever you want to get out of the therapeutic relationship, I am here to help. I do not advise as I believe that you hold the answers to your challenges as you know yourself better than anyone else.

Warmth, empathy, acceptance and no judgement are the principal qualities I embody in my work. I will listen and support you as we discuss together what is causing you distress and explore how you can find change, peace or meaning in your life.
