About me
I am an experienced Consultant and have been working at Liverpool Heart & Chest Hospital (often locally called 'Broadgreen') since 2003. I am a nationally recognised expert in heart rhythm problems, especially atrial fibrillation (AF) ablation. I am a medical advisor for the Atrial Fibrillation Alliance (AFA) patient group.
I can greatly improve the symptoms and quality of life of patients with AF and other heart rhythm problems through the use of treatments like ablation (and sometimes pacemakers) .
As a keen sportsman I appreciate the impact heart rhythm problems can have on hobbies / activities.
I have over 80 peer reviewed publications in the filed of heart rhythm disorders (mainly AF).
