About me
Specialist Oncoplastic Breast Surgery consultant for 13 years.
I am an experienced breast and reconstructive surgeon who specialises in mammoplaty techniques to try and avoid mastectomy when possible. Including partial breast reconstruction using LICAP flaps. Implant and ADM total breast reconstruction. LD flap and implant reconstructions
I have a strong background in teaching reconstruction techniques and am Course Director for Oncoplastic Breast Reconstruction level 2 course at the Royal College of Surgeons. In addition I am a faculty member and teach on the Level 1 course also.
I have set up the breast reconstruction service in Reading
I gained my Masters Thesis from the University of London with research into micrometastases detection in breast cancer. Specialty Breast surgery training and TIG oncoplastic fellowship.
