About me
Having trained in the South East region of London at Guy's and St Thomas' and completed a period of research at St Mark's culminating in an MS degree, I started work at St Thomas' hospital in 2003.
I have developed over the last 20 years an interest in inflamatory bowel disease, complex anal sepsis and pelvic floor disorders.
I set up the St Thomas' enhanced recovery program after abdominal surgery, the St Thomas' and London Bridge Pelvic floor units and am lead clinician for these and colorectal surgery at St Thomas' Hospital
Areas of interest
General surgery including hernia repairs;
Colorectal surgery specifically inflamatory bowel disease including complex Crohn's disease and ileo-anal pouch surgery;
Complex anal sepsis and anal fistulae;
Pelvic floor disorders, constipation, obstructed defaecation and faecal incontinence, including anal ultrasound and anorectal physiology;
Surgery for pelvic floor functional problems including transvaginal repairs and ventral mesh rectopexy; Appendicectomy
