About me
Lucy became a physiotherapist because of her passion for helping people. She has always been interested in sports and exercise and wanted to use her knowledge to help others achieve their goals. Through her education and experience, Lucy has developed a deep understanding of the human body and how to optimise its function.
Lucy is a Masters Graduate Physiotherapist who achieved the highest academic grade in her cohort, earning an award from the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists. Since graduating, Lucy worked as a rotational physiotherapist in the NHS, gaining valuable experience across a range of specialties, from intensive care to sports injury rehabilitation. Building on this diverse foundation, Lucy now proudly serves as a Senior Musculoskeletal (MSK) Physiotherapist in the NHS, where she continues to expand her expertise in treating complex MSK conditions.
?Alongside her NHS role, Lucy has fulfilled a long-held passion by opening her own private clinic, where she provides personalised, high-quality care to her patients.
?Prior to her Masters, Lucy earned a degree in Sports and Exercise Science and worked for UK Sport, where she attended major competitions and gained a deep understanding of the demands of elite sport.
Lucy is also a trained sports massage therapist, Pilates matwork instructor, and Yoga teacher. She offers dry needling (medical acupuncture) within her appointments and has a particular interest in lower limb injuries and clinical Pilates.
Outside of physiotherapy, Lucy enjoys being outdoors and active. She particularly enjoys horse riding, running, paddleboarding, and practicing Pilates.
