About me

Dr Mendieta-Tan is a Chartered Psychologist and Neurodiversity Specialist. She is an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society (BPS) and a registered Practitioner Psychologist with the Health and Care Professionals Council (HCPC).

With over 13 years of experience in diverse settings, including the public and private sectors as well as charities, Dr Mendieta-Tan has supported people with a variety of physical, emotional and social challenges.

These include: low mood and depression, anxiety, stress related difficulties including burnout, emotion regulation, managing physical health such as Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS), fibromyalgia, long covid, post viral and post fatigue syndrome, eating related difficulties such as weight management and pre/post bariatric surgery support amongst others. Additionally, as a Neurodiversity Specialist, Dr Mendieta-Tan supports neurodivergent individuals to identify their strengths and manage any challenges they experience.

She works integratively, that is, adopting a variety of evidence based therapeutic approaches to suit the client's needs and goals.
