About me

I am a highly experienced paediatric dietitian who has worked in the NHS as part of the paediatric multidisciplinary team at London North West University Healthcare for over 10 years. I have always enjoyed working with children and whilst studying at Kings College London for 4 years, I worked as a nanny. I have my own young family, with one child that eats everything and one child with whom, I have had to implement all my professional knowledge and experience to ensure he enjoys eating and his diet is balanced. On a personal level, I enjoy cooking nutritious food and have a keen interest in optimum health. I firmly believe that eating a balanced diet is the most important lifestyle change an individual can do for their health, as it is so closely linked to our microbiome and overall wellbeing. I absolutely love my job and I currently see around 25 children a week in my NHS clinics, as well as seeing children privately, when I am not in working in the NHS. They are referred for a variety of reasons such as; allergies, fussy eating, growth concerns, vitamin and mineral deficiencies, gastro issues, vegan or vegetarian diets, constipation, diarrhoea, coeliac disease, and concerns with weight. Therefore, I am highly experienced in providing practical nutritional advice in all these areas and many more. I am also dedicated to ensuring the advice I give is up to date with the latest developments in paediatric dietetics and allergy. I have a certificate in paediatric dietetics at masters level from the University of Plymouth. I also attend the latest study days, have weekly meetings with allergy consultants and I am part of our local allergy network in London. All dietitians are Health Professions Council registered and I am also a member of the British Dietetic Association BDA and the BDA Food Allergy and Intolerance Group. I have a warm and calm rapport with children, and I am passionate about working with the child and their family to ensure their diet is balanced, their growth is optimal, and they have excellent long-term relationship with food.
