About me
Dr Sarah Buckley is a Clinical Psychologist that brings over 10 years of experience working within the NHS in Edinburgh and London, as well as with private and non-profit organisations. Her clinical experience spans a wide range of difficulties, including anxiety, post-traumatic stress, complex trauma, depression, low self-esteem, and perfectionism. She has also worked extensively in specialist services addressing OCD, adult ADHD, medical trauma and psychosis, gaining deep knowledge and practical skills in these complex areas.
Dr. Buckley is trained in multiple evidence-based therapeutic approaches, such as cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), compassion focused therapy (CFT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and eye movement desensitisation and reprocessing (EMDR). She has a special interest in adult ADHD assessment and post-diagnostic support having previously developed an ADHD psychology service in the NHS.
As an integrative therapist, Dr Buckley tailors her approach by combining different psychological models to best meet the unique needs of those she works with. She is compassionate and collaborative and focuses on developing a shared understanding of what people bring to sessions.
