About me
Oli is a senior physiotherapist for the English Institute of Sport (EIS), seconded to British Triathlon. Over the past decade, he has supported British Triathlon Federation's world-class athletes through the London, Rio, Tokyo, and LA Olympic cycles, specialising in injury rehabilitation under high-performance, time-critical conditions. He has also played a critical role in formulating industry standards in lower limb injury risk athletic profiling across the Olympic and high performance network.
Oli has extensive Olympic and Commonwealth Games experience, including roles as Team GB HQ physiotherapist at Tokyo 2020 and Team England's Lead Physiotherapist at the 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games. He has also worked with British Athletics, British Diving and British Weightlifting, as well as supporting international track and field athletes (Irish Athletics, Kenya Athletics, Canada Athletics) and professional long course triathletes. He also consults for premier league football clubs and individual premier league and championship players. More recently he has also supported professional golfers on the European and DP world tour. Currently, Oli consults in London (Harley Street) and Manchester Institute of Health and Performance (MIHP), collaborating on complex lower limb rehabilitation for high-performance and recreational athletes.
As an educator, Oli lectures on running and lower limb injury management at UCL, Manchester Metropolitan, and Leeds Beckett university and tutors on �Running and athletic Injuries" via private educational courses.
