Mr Eleftherios Karamanlis is a highly experienced Consultant General Surgeon with over 27 years of practice across the United Kingdom, Greece, and Saudi Arabia. Since joining Practice Plus Group in 2019, he has built a strong reputation for delivering safe, effective treatment with a clear focus on patient experience and outcomes.

He specialises in the surgical management of upper and lower gastrointestinal conditions, hernia repair, and anorectal disorders. Mr Karamanlis is particularly skilled in minimally invasive (laparoscopic) techniques, which can help reduce pain, minimise scarring, and support a faster return to normal daily activities.

Experience and Background

Mr Karamanlis has held a number of senior surgical positions internationally. Prior to his current role in the UK, he was Head of the Surgical Division at Shaqra General Hospital in Riyadh and a Consultant General Surgeon at AHEPA University Hospital in Thessaloniki. His international experience enables him to bring a broad, well-rounded perspective to patient care.
