Mr Vasileios Kefalas is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with over 23 years of experience, specialising in surgery of the hand, wrist and elbow. He holds the European Diploma in Hand Surgery awarded by the Federation of European Societies for Surgery of the Hand (FESSH), reflecting his advanced specialist training in this field.
Mr Kefalas is a Member of the British Society for Surgery of the Hand (BSSH) and is registered on the GMC Specialist Register for Trauma and Orthopaedics. His clinical expertise encompasses the full spectrum of upper limb conditions, from common nerve compression disorders through to complex wrist reconstruction. He has particular expertise in minimally invasive and arthroscopic techniques, and manages both acute and chronic conditions affecting the hand and wrist.

Areas of Interest
Mr Kefalas has a particular clinical interest in the diagnosis and surgical management of nerve entrapment conditions of the upper limb, including carpal tunnel syndrome and cubital tunnel syndrome. He has a strong interest in Dupuytren's disease, wrist arthroscopy, and the surgical management of both acute and chronic wrist conditions including osteotomies, fusions and joint replacements.
Mr Kefalas is committed to delivering personalised, outcome-focused care. He communicates with patients in English, German, Greek and Romanian, supporting a diverse patient population.
