About me

Mr Antonio Gagliardi Lugo is an experienced Oral Surgeon with specialist training in oral and maxillofacial surgery. He is known for his calm, approachable manner and his ability to put patients at ease, particularly those who may feel nervous about dental treatment.
He provides a full range of oral surgery procedures, from routine extractions to more complex surgical cases, including impacted teeth and the management of oral pathology. A key part of his practice is supporting patients with dental anxiety, using carefully tailored sedation techniques to ensure treatment is as comfortable and stress-free as possible.
After qualifying in 2009 and completing his specialist training in 2014, Mr Gagliardi Lugo has gained broad clinical experience working in both Venezuela and the UK. His hospital experience includes Dr Miguel Perez Carreno Hospital in Caracas, as well as Glan Clwyd Hospital, Royal Gwent Hospital, and Royal Lancaster Infirmary, where he has managed a wide variety of routine and complex surgical cases.
He takes a thoughtful, individual approach to care, recognising that every patient is different. By listening carefully and explaining options clearly, he helps patients feel confident in their treatment and fully supported throughout their journey.

He is a member of international professional organisations including the International Association for Dental Research, the International Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and the AO Foundation (Craniomaxillofacial section).
