About me

I am a neurodivergent (AuDHD) person-centred counsellor who works in a warm, relational and down-to-earth way. My practice is grounded in compassion, authenticity and respect for each individual's lived experience. I offer a safe, non-judgemental space where clients can explore difficulties without pressure or expectation.
My approach is collaborative and gentle, with sessions paced entirely by the client. I integrate trauma-informed and neuro-affirming principles and, where appropriate, creative therapeutic tools. Therapy is led by the client's needs rather than a fixed agenda.
I work with adults and young people and have specialist experience supporting autistic and ADHD clients (diagnosed or self-identified), care-experienced individuals, adopted adults, adopters and those hoping to adopt. I support clients with anxiety, burnout, trauma, identity difficulties, attachment-related issues, grief, family estrangement and complex family dynamics.
I also have experience working with work-related stress, discrimination and workplace trauma, particularly where clients feel misunderstood, invalidated or exhausted from trying to adapt to environments not designed with their needs in mind.
Clients often describe me as calm, grounding and approachable. My aim is to help people feel heard, understood and less alone, while supporting greater self-understanding, emotional regulation and compassionate self-acceptance.
