About me

Mr Rakesh Choudhary is a renowned Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in hip and knee surgery. With expertise in joint replacement and arthroscopic procedures, he provides tailored care for a range of conditions affecting the lower limbs. His practice spans several locations, including New Hall Hospital in Salisbury, The Cherwell Hospital in Banbury, The Healthshare Clinic in Winchester, and The Fitzrovia Hospital in London.

Mr Choudhary's advanced training includes a fellowship in hip and knee surgery at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre in Oxford. He holds an MBBS with Honours, an MS in Orthopaedics, FRCS, FRCS (Tr & Orth), and an MCh in Orthopaedics from Liverpool University. Since 2014, he has been a key member of Practice Plus Group, enhancing their orthopaedic services with his expertise.

Offering both surgical and non-surgical treatments, Mr Choudhary's repertoire includes total and partial hip and knee replacements, knee arthroscopy for cartilage and meniscus issues, and soft tissue procedures. Beyond clinical practice, Mr Choudhary is an Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) instructor and peer reviews research for the Bone and Joint Journal.
