Michael Cormack is an experienced CBT Therapist who works with individual adults and couples with a wide range of issues and problems including anxiety; depression/low mood; stress; abuse; anger/aggression; assertiveness; bereavement/grief; body image; bullying; chronic illness; disordered eating; exam stress; insomnia; life transitions; loneliness; low self-esteem; mindfulness; neglect; obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD); panic; phobias; post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD); relationship concerns; relaxation; risk taking; self-harm; trauma; and many more issues.

Michael's way of working
Michael aims to establish a rapport with each client and provide a safe therapeutic space in which his clients can explore their core beliefs and life experiences. He aims to inspire hope and support clients as they move towards their desired outcomes.

Michael offers a range of counselling/psychotherapy options including Cognitive-Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Compassion Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Trauma Focused CBT, coaching, and Solution Focused Therapy. He tailors his approach to meet the individual needs and preferences of each client.
