About me
Dr Bijan Shahrad is a general consultant paediatrician who has special interests in respiratory medicine and gastroenterology.
He is the clinical lead for gastroenterology at the North Middlesex Hospital and has an honorary consultant post in this same area at the Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH). He specialises in constipation, acid reflux, coeliac disease and other gastroenterological issues. He has a close working relationship with the GOSH team should any further invasive investigations need organising.
Dr Shahrad also specialises in respiratory medicine and is one of the asthma consultant. In this role he manages many children with asthma, chronic cough and recurrent chest infections, among other issues.
He also has a very busy general paediatric clinic, and can help with any general paediatric issue including growth and development, recurrent infections and other issues.
