About me

Dr Vasiliki Kolovou is currently a Consultant in Diabetes, Endocrinology and General Medicine at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, a global Centre of Excellence in Diabetes and Endocrinology. Her interest focuses on weight management, Diabetes, pituitary tumours, thyroid disease, thyroid nodules and parathyroid disease, polycystic ovarian syndrome and adrenal gland disorders.

Vasiliki has experience in treating complex diabetes, endocrine and general medicine patients.

Currently, she is the responsible Diabetologist and leads the Cystic Fibrosis Diabetes service at King's College NHS Trust, for all patients with Cystic Fibrosis from South London and Southeast of England. Efficient and appropriate patient care is at the heart of her working life and how she manages her patients.

Vasiliki completed her postgraduate medical training at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, London.

She holds an appointment as a Senior Researcher at the Medical Technology Group of London School of Economics, where she is pursuing her research interests in diabetes and obesity policy in the context of population health management.
