About me

Dr Sarkar has had a decade of experience of working as a consultant physician in respiratory medicine and critical care within the National Health Service after completing his post-graduate training initially in Liverpool and then in the south-east of England. He has also trained in clinical epidemiology at the Harvard University. He treats wide variety of respiratory conditions and takes particularly interest in managing patients with breathlessness. He also manages critically ill patients admitted to intensive care with multiorgan failure.
He takes particular care in explaining the disease process and treatment plans to his patients in a that they can understand.
Dr Sarkar has held multiple teaching positions both for postgraduate and undergraduate trainees and is an examiner in multiple postgraduate examinations.
