About me

Dr Arif Hussenbux is a Consultant Gastroenterologist based in Buckinghamshire. Practising at Wycombe, Amersham and Stoke Mandeville Hospital, Dr Hussenbux has considerable expertise in interventional endoscopy. He performs a wide range of endoscopic procedures including gastroscopy, colonoscopy, polypectomy, endoscopic ultrasound, ERCP (endoscopy of the bile duct), stent insertion and stricture dilatation. Dr Hussenbux also has an interest in general gastroenterology including irritable bowel syndrome, abdominal pain and gasto-oesophageal reflux disease. Dr Hussenbux takes care to offer a relaxed consultation where patients are provided ample time to express all of their concerns.

Dr Hussenbux qualified from Barts and the London, School of Medicine and Dentistry in 2014 where he was awarded the Goldberg-Schachmann and Freda Becker Bursary for exceptionally high academic ranking. He then underwent specialist training within the Oxford deanery, where he provided an active role within the British Society Gastroenterology as the regional trainee committee representative. Post training, Dr Hussenbux was awarded the internationally renowned advanced hepato-pancreato-biliary medicine fellowship at St James University Hospital in Leeds.

Dr Hussenbux specialises in general gastroenterology with a specialist interest in the liver, biliary tree and pancreas. Dr Hussenbux regularly performs both diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy for a wide range of conditions.
