About me

Hello, I'm a Chartered Clinical Psychologist who is HCPC registered and EMDR trained. I am committed to alleviating psychological distress. I do this by applying the knowledge and skills I have developed over the last 25 years through lengthy training and experience in both clinical and health psychology. I believe most people experience distress at some time in their lives and can benefit from psychological help. I offer a non-judgemental, safe environment and tailor my approach to the individual needs of my clients.
I specialise in trauma resolution (complex and single incident). I have extensive experience of working in the NHS and providing therapy to individuals experiencing depression and/or anxiety, adjustment disorders, interpersonal difficulties, physical health problems and more.
In my practice I advocate a collaborative therapeutic relationship. I spend time getting to know my clients in terms of their emotional struggles and their goals and aspirations in life. I know how daunting it can be to first reach out for help and then to start working through painful issues and memories. I'm here to gently guide my clients through this.
