About me

I am a friendly and experienced Clinical Psychologist and EMDR therapist. I have over 15 years' experience of working in the NHS providing mental health support to service users and their families. I have extensive experience and training of working with adults and children with a range of difficulties including anxiety, phobia, depression and trauma. I also work with clients who seek therapy for the purposes of personal development and reflection.

Alongside private practice I work within an NHS Paediatric service providing psychological therapy to children, young people and their families.

I am trained to work in an integrative way, which allows me to draw on a range of evidence based psychological models. This means I can adapt therapy to best meet your needs. The models I draw on most are Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
I understand the importance of providing a non-judgemental and confidential space, to enable you to feel safe when sharing and exploring difficult experiences and emotions. We'll work together to build an understanding of how your difficulties developed, what keeps them going and I will help you learn coping strategies to improve your quality of life.
