About me
I am a Clinical Psychologist working with adults in private practice and children and families in NHS practice. I support people to navigate a broad range of problems such as low mood, anxiety, burnout and stress, bereavement, loss, life transitions, fertility issues, parenting challenges, the effects of traumatic experiences, living with health conditions and new diagnoses, difficulty making decisions or feeling without a sense of purpose in life. I support people to feel they are living in a way that fits with their values and to depart from ways of being that no longer suit them.
I view therapy as a collaborative project drawing on the skills and knowledge of the people consulting me. I aid this process by integrating evidence-based approaches such as narrative, compassion focused and cognitive-behavioural therapies. If it feels safe to do so, we can incorporate the knowledge and experience that is held in the body, into our work.
I welcome people from all backgrounds, and embrace diversity in race, ethnicity, religion, sexual identity, gender identity and physical ability. Making the commitment to therapy is no small thing and can be daunting. Please be in touch and we can discuss if and how working together could be the right fit for you. Currently online availability only.
