I am a highly experienced Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist with over 20 years of practice in the mental health field. My professional journey began in Italy, where I gained a Master's Degree in Adult Clinical Psychology. After moving to the UK, I completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) at Royal Holloway, University of London.
For more than 14 years, I worked as a Senior CBT Therapist within both primary and secondary care services at CNWL NHS Foundation Trust in central London. This has given me extensive experience in supporting people with a wide range of mental health difficulties, from common challenges such as anxiety and depression to more complex and long-standing issues.
Specialized in Trauma
I have a particular interest in trauma therapy, as I believe many of today's struggles can be traced back to earlier painful or overwhelming experiences whether single events or repeated patterns of trauma during childhood or adulthood. Addressing these underlying wounds can be a powerful step towards lasting healing and recovery.
Specialized in Perimenopause/Menopause
I also have specialized training in Menopause-Informed CBT, which draws on the latest, ground-breaking research into the psychological impact of perimenopause and menopause. This approach helps women navigate the unique challenges associated with hormonal changes, including mood difficulties, anxiety, sleep disturbances, and self-esteem issues. Menopause-Informed CBT is still a relatively new and emerging area of practice, and not all therapists are trained in it. My expertise in this field means I can offer highly tailored, evidence-based support to women during this important life stage, helping them improve their wellbeing, resilience, and quality of life.
In addition, I take a holistic approach to mental health, focusing on the whole person rather than just the symptoms. My aim is to offer a safe, collaborative, and compassionate space where people feel supported and empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives.
Therapeutic Approach
I use a range of evidence-based therapies to tailor treatment to each individual, including:
 Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
 Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT)
 Trauma-Focused Therapy
 Menopause-Informed CBT
 Mindfulness-Based Approaches
Internal Family Systems (IFS parts work)
This integrative approach allows me to adapt therapy to the unique needs of each client, whether they are struggling with trauma, anxiety, depression, or the challenges of living with neurodiversity such as ADHD, ADD, or autism spectrum conditions.
Commitment to Excellence
To maintain the highest standards of care, I engage in regular clinical supervision and attend ongoing training and workshops, in line with BABCP requirements. This ensures my knowledge and practice remain current, evidence-based, and effective.

Areas of interest
I provide CBT treatment and EMDR therapy for adults, from age 18 upwards, who may be experiencing a range of psychological difficulties. These may include low mood/depression, antenatal or postnatal anxiety and/or depression, anxiety difficulties (including obsessive compulsive disorder, post traumatic stress disorder, relational trauma, panic, agoraphobia, health anxiety, social anxiety, generalized anxiety/worry, and specific phobias), low self esteem, difficulties with confidence, sleep disorders, anger, and more.
Trauma work is a particular focus of my practice, and I have undertaken specialist training in complex and relational trauma. I am also certified in Menopause Informed CBT, through EMBERS, to support women navigating the profound psychological shifts of perimenopause and menopause.
