About me

Mr Paramesh Puttasiddaiah MBBS, MS (ENT), MRCS, DOHNS, FRCS(ORL-Head and Neck)

I am currently working as an ENT consultant at Swansea Bay University Health Board.
I have extensive experience in managing a range of Ear, Nose and Throat conditions. I specialise in hearing loss, tinnitus, vertigo/dizziness, minimal invasive endoscopic middle ear and mastoid surgery as well as nasal surgery for blocked noses and sinus infections.
I also provide general Ear, Nose and Throat consultations in both adult and paediatric populations.

Throughout my career I have been undertaking research and quality improvement projects, alongside publishing various research articles in peer-reviewed journals.

Outside of my professional life, I am a keen gardener, and enjoy regular running and hiking.

Areas of interest

I manage both adult and children conditions in ENT but paediatric service is not available in Sancta Maria hospital where I practice. I treat adults from the age of 16 years and above.

I treat conditions like tonsillitis; sore throat; difficulty swallowing; hoarse voice; nasal obstruction; sinusitis; hearing loss; tinnitus; vertigo and ear discharge;

I perform tonsillectomy; adenoidectomy; grommet insertion; nasal septal surgery for nasal obstruction; nasal sinus surgery; pharyngoscopy; laryngoscopy; myringoplasty for perforated ear drum and middle ear and mastoid surgery;
