About me

Professor Guri Sandhu is a Senior Consultant Ear, Nose and Throat Specialist practicing in London. As a Registrar he trained in ENT at The Royal National Throat, Nose and Ear Hospital and in Paediatric ENT at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children. He obtained the Intercollegiate Fellowship in Otolaryngology (FRCS ORL-HNS) in 2001 and a Doctorate of Medicine (MD) in 2011. Mr Sandhu has over 150 peer reviewed research publications and has written 15 book chapters and 3 books. He lectures nationally and internationally and has an active research programme in laryngology.

He has an NHS Award for clinical Excellence and has been awarded a Clinical Professorship in Laryngology at Imperial College London, a fellowship of the American Laryngological Association and an honorary fellowship of the Royal Academy of Music. These are in recognition of research, education and the management of throat problems and the professional voice. He was the fourth recipient of the Isshiki prize, given every two years, to surgeons who have made an outstanding contribution to laryngology.

Professor Sandhu holds an NHS Consultant ENT Surgeon position at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. He provides expertise in the management of all common Ear, Nose and Throat problems. He has a special interest in disorders of the voice, airway and swallowing. He provides a full paediatric ENT service at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital
