About me
Mr. Azhar Shaida is a Consultant ENT Surgeon at the internationally renowned Royal National Throat Nose and Ear Hospital. He attended Cambridge and Oxford University for his medical training, and then trained in London and Cambridge, attaining the FRCS in General Surgery and FRCS ORL-HNS, before being appointed Consultant ENT Surgeon at the RNTNEH in 2002. He has been awarded an MD degree by the University of London for his research into matrix metalloproteinases.
His clinical interests are Otology and Auditory Implants, Paediatric ENT Surgery, and Rhinology and Sinus surgery. Research interests include prevention and restoration of hearing loss, and Eustachian tube disorders.
