About me

Dr Christina Menexi is a Consultant Cardiologist with a specialist interest in cardiac electrophysiology and complex cardiac devices, alongside a broad general cardiology practice.
She completed her cardiology training across Greece, Germany and the United Kingdom, obtaining her Certificate of Completion of Cardiology Training in 2019.
Dr Menexi has undertaken extensive subspecialty training in electrophysiology and complex cardiac devices, including senior fellowship roles at University Hospital Southampton and Royal Bournemouth University Hospitals, before being appointed as a Consultant Cardiologist at the Essex Cardiothoracic Centre.
She holds advanced certification from both the European Heart Rhythm Association and the British Heart Rhythm Society in cardiac devices and electrophysiology, reflecting her expertise in the diagnosis and management of heart rhythm disorders.
In addition to her specialist work, Dr Menexi provides comprehensive general cardiology care. She regularly assesses patients with symptoms such as chest pain, breathlessness, palpitations, dizziness or blackouts, and offers clear, structured evaluation with appropriate investigations and personalised management plans.
Dr Menexi is actively involved in research and has contributed to peer-reviewed publications and international presentations in the field of electrophysiology and cardiac devices.
