About me

I am a UKCP-accredited contemporary psychotherapist and EMDR Europe trained therapist, offering therapy online and in person in Sandwich, Kent.

I provide a warm, collaborative and non-judgemental space where clients can slow down, make sense of what they're experiencing, and develop lasting emotional wellbeing. My approach is tailored to each individual, recognising that no two people are the same. Rather than working from a one-size-fits-all model, I draw from a range of evidence-based approaches to meet each client's unique needs.

I work with adults experiencing anxiety, stress, depression, trauma, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, emotional overwhelm, life transitions and recurring patterns that leave them feeling stuck. Together, we explore not only current challenges but also the underlying experiences that may be shaping them, helping clients build greater self-awareness, emotional regulation and resilience.

Alongside contemporary psychotherapy, my work is informed by Polyvagal Theory and an understanding of the connection between the mind and body. As a former personal trainer with a degree in Psychology, I have long been passionate about the relationship between physical and emotional wellbeing. Where appropriate, I help clients develop awareness of how their nervous system responds to stress and support them in finding practical ways to feel more grounded, regulated and connected.

I am also trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing), an evidence-based therapy that can be highly effective for processing traumatic or distressing experiences, reducing the emotional impact of difficult memories and supporting recovery from trauma and anxiety.

Above all, I believe that the therapeutic relationship is central to meaningful change. My aim is to create a safe, compassionate environment where clients feel understood, supported and empowered to move beyond simply coping, towards living with greater confidence, clarity and fulfilment.
