About me

I am Colleen, a qualified Humanistic Counsellor, EMDR Therapist, and CBT Practitioner, offering counselling and psychotherapy online throughout the UK and in-person sessions. I provide a warm, compassionate, and non-judgemental space where you can feel heard, understood, and supported to create meaningful and lasting change.
My approach is built on the belief that every person has the capacity to heal, grow, and move forward. Together, we will explore your experiences at a pace that feels right for you, helping you reconnect with your strengths, understand unhelpful patterns, and develop the confidence to live a more fulfilling life.

• Trauma and PTSD
• Childhood trauma and adverse life experiences
• Depression and low mood
• Stress and burnout
• Low self-esteem and confidence issues
• Relationship difficulties
• Bereavement and loss
• Workplace challenges
• Emotional regulation difficulties
• Frontline worker and NHS staff support
• Military personnel and veterans
• Life transitions and personal development
EMDR Therapy for Trauma, Anxiety & PTSD
As a qualified EMDR Practitioner, I help clients process traumatic memories and distressing experiences that may continue to impact daily life. EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) is an evidence-based therapy recognised for its effectiveness in treating trauma, PTSD, anxiety, phobias, and negative self-beliefs.
Many clients come to EMDR after years of feeling trapped by the past. By helping the brain reprocess difficult experiences, EMDR can reduce emotional distress, build resilience, and support lasting recovery.
CBT Therapy for Anxiety, Stress & Depression
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) helps you understand how thoughts, emotions, and behaviours influence one another. Together, we identify unhelpful thinking patterns and develop practical tools to manage anxiety, depression, stress, and self-criticism.

My role is not to tell you what to do but to walk alongside you, helping you discover your own strengths, insights, and capacity for change. I aim to create a safe and supportive environment where you can explore your thoughts and feelings without fear of judgement.

A Personalised Approach to Therapy
No two people are the same, and neither is therapy.
Drawing upon EMDR, CBT, Humanistic Counselling, Mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and trauma-informed approaches, I tailor sessions to meet your individual needs and goals.
Whether you are seeking support for a specific issue or looking for deeper personal growth, we will work collaboratively to help you move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and self-compassion.
