About me

Terry Wong graduated from the University of Cambridge and St. Bartholomew's Hospital. He completed his Specialty Training in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at King's College Hospital and Guy's and St. Thomas' Hospital, London. He was awarded his MD by thesis in 2000, and FRCP in 2004. Formerly Consultant Hepatologist at the University Hospital Birmingham, he is currently a Consultant Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist at Guys and St. Thomas' Hospital. He has previously been an elected member of the British Society of Gastroenterology Liver Committee, Endoscopy Committee and Oesophageal Committee, the gastroenterology Training Programme Director for the South East Thames region, and had an active research programme in oesophageal physiology, hepatology, and hepatobiliary endoscopy.
