About me

My main area of specialty is the management of reflux and hiatus hernia repair, gallstones and hernias of the abdominal wall. I perform the majority of my operations laparoscopically (keyhole surgery).

Over the 12 years of my NHS consultant post I have gained extensive experience of both elective and emergency general surgery. I have performed over a 1,000 laparoscopic cholecystecomies both in the elective and emergency setting. In addition I have performed over 200 hiatus hernia repairs. I perform over 200 gastroscopies a year in my NHS practice and I am a recognised as an endoscopy trainer. I also perform both laparoscopic and open abdominal hernia repair.
