About me

I am a Clinical Psychologist with experience of working in NHS and private healthcare settings since 2009. I understand that making a commitment to yourself through psychological therapy is a significant and courageous step. To support this, I offer a complimentary twenty-minute telephone consultation. This gives me a chance to gain some understanding of your current difficulties and allows you to get a sense of the way I work. We can then discuss whether therapy with me is likely to be a good fit for you.

There are many reasons people may feel stuck, held back in life, or experience distress. It is vital to build an understanding of what has contributed to these struggles, and to consider your personal goals, before beginning therapy. A comprehensive assessment helps identify which form of evidence-based therapy is most likely to support you in reaching your potential. We will explore what triggers your distress and how it manifests for you. We will then outline a therapy plan together, mapping out steps to help you cope in a way that enhances your quality of life.

Areas of interest

Training in a range of therapeutic models allows me to develop a bespoke therapy approach tailored to each person's unique needs. I have particular expertise in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Mindfulness, and Behavioural Science approaches.
Each person's experience is individual to them. Labelling their experience does not feel helpful to everyone. To support clients to make an informed choice I have experience in supporting people to recover from:
Anxiety, panic, phobias, health anxiety, social anxiety and low confidence. Depression, bi-polar, mood disorders, bereavement and loss. I am trained in several treatment methods for trauma including PTSD, complex trauma and intergenerational trauma. I have particular expertise in supporting individuals struggling with issues relating to women's health, neurodiversities such as ADHD and autism, psychosis, and addictive behaviours.
