About me

Mr Mohamed Hosni is a Consultant Gynaecologist specialising in Advanced Gynaecological Endoscopic Surgery and Endometriosis, with over 20 years of experience. He is a very experienced laparoscopic surgeon, with international reputation in minimal access surgery.

He completed Fellowship in Advanced Gynaecological Endoscopic Surgery, at University Hospitals Sussex. He is a recognised trainer of RIGS (Registrars in Gynaecological Surgery) at the British Society for Gynaecological Endoscopy (BSGE), aiming to improve training and resources.

Mr Hosni is a firm believer in a patient-centred approach, personalised on an individual basis. He places a significant importance on taking time to listen to each patient specific needs and providing them with a thorough explanation of their treatment options. Entirely dedicated to his profession, Mr Hosni provides highest standard of care to his patients and has excellent outcomes both in obstetrics and gynaecology.

Research interests

Mr Hosni has a broad clinical research background and has collaborated with numerous doctors and scientists on different projects in Gynaecological research, with many peer-reviewed publications. He has presented both Nationally and Internationally, has several peer-reviewed publications in scientific journals.

He has completed MD in Advanced Gynaecological Endoscopy, with Merit.

His interest in gynaecology is in fertility enhancing minimal access surgery that includes treatment of endometriosis, ovarian cysts, and removal of fibroids. In addition, Mr Hosni also offers advice and treatment for other gynaecological conditions like menstrual problems, miscarriages, abnormal smears, and pelvic pain.
