About me

I am an experienced and accredited Cognitive Behaviour Therapist (CBT) therapist, also trained in EMDR. I like to empower my clients to become their own therapists, using evidence based techniques to help clients overcome their issues of depression, anxiety, worry, trauma, fear and stress.

I am accredited with the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (www.babcp.com) which means that I am qualified to a high standard, and committed to continuous professional development and regular supervision to maintain those standards. I also sign up to the ethics code and practice for this association.

I have worked in various settings, using CBT and EMDR as my two main therapeutic approaches. I specialise in treatment of common mental health problems such as Depression, Post Traumatic Stress, Generalised Anxiety, Phobias, Health Anxiety. I have a particular interest in Trauma related difficulties.

Clients describe me as a warm, compassionate therapist. I identify as a Bisexual, Cis Female and hope this helps me understand the obstacles that the LGBTQ+ community may experience when accessing psychological therapy and working to overcome them.

I work online only at present offering individual sessions.
