About me

I offer kindness and compassion at a time you may be struggling. I am very experienced in working with all ages from primary age children to older adults. I have worked in the public sector as a counsellor supporting families, schools, children's centres and run group therapy for children; young people and parents. I have seen people in the worst situations go from strength to strength and get their lives back on track. I have worked in charities like The Samaritans and worked with children in the care system and counselling agencies and before I was a counsellor worked for Remploy helping people with disabilities find employment. I also worked in the corporate sector before that so understand the difficulties that change and uncertainty in organisations can bring and how difficult it can be to hold down a job when things at home are stressful. I have met a broad range of people and appreciate diversity believing that everyone has something unique and precious about them. I will provide a place for you to talk without feeling judged even if your ways of coping aren't things you're proud of. I'll help you find a way forward where you are getting your needs better met and feeling more in control of things so you feel more yourself again.
