About me
I am a HCPC registered Clinical Psychologist, originally trained in Australia and now residing in the UK. Throughout my career, I've enjoyed having the privilege of working with and creating genuine connections with individuals from all walks of life. For this reason, I prioritise creating an environment where my clients feel safe and comfortable sharing their innermost thoughts and exploring the different parts of themselves. I ascribe to the belief that individuals are experts of their own experience, and through reflection and insight-building, aim to utilise this knowledge to foster meaningful changes in each individual's life.
I have had experience working in a variety of settings including child and adolescent mental health services, early intervention services for children with neurodevelopmental disabilities, a university clinic, adult community mental health and in a private practice working with both children and adults. As a result, I understand the challenges that various life stages and life transitions may present.
I adopt a therapeutic style that aligns with my own values of creativity, humour and flexibility. Additionally, I integrate various therapeutic modalities to tailor my practice to the unique needs of each client, ensuring a personalized and effective treatment experience. I hold a particular interest in adopting a schema therapy framework by which present day difficulties are understood in the context of early life experiences.
