About me
Academic: Annual workshops for CIRSE, SIR, ECR and BSIR. 83 PubMed publications, reviewer for multiple IR journals, text book chapters, book editor and standards of practice documents.
Clinical: Performs vascular and nonvascular interventions -Interventional Radiology particularly vertebroplasty/ kyphoplasty, vascular stenting and angioplasty, oesophageal, duodenal, biliary and colonic stenting. Venous access (portocaths, hickman lines), and biopsies. Embolisation for varicoceles, fibroids, prostate artery and bleeding. Contribute to clinical emergency on call 365; 24/7 rota in one of the busiest IR centre in UK that includes adult and paediatric IR cases. Head of the fellowship training programme and this has 5 fellows in IR (including overseas fellows) and also several observers through CIRSE programme.
Areas of interest
Interventional radiology; Prostate artery embolisation for prostate enlargement ; Fibroid and varicocele embolisation. GI and urology stents. Venous access, Portocaths and PICC lines.
