About me
Hello and welcome.
I am a UKCP-accredited psychotherapist, working in private practice since 2014. My approach is relational and embodied, underpinned by the assumption that often difficulties that we are experiencing in the present can be shaped by our early lives. My aim is to help you get closer to your experience. For example, your thoughts, feelings, body sensations, and perhaps aspects of your spirituality also.
Counselling and psychotherapy can offer a safe and non-judgmental space to explore life's struggles. You may have something specific you'd like to talk about. Or you may not know the details. You're just aware that stuff continues to niggle, and you'd like help to figure out why.
I work with a wide range of issues, including, among other things, anxiety, depression and relationship issues. I find that clients often come to me because they've experienced some kind of loss. This could mean anything from a bereavement or the loss of a relationship. Or perhaps they are experiencing a life transition or are feeling stuck in their lives.
My PhD explores the intergenerational trauma of suicide in families, so I bring this lens to my work with clients also. It means that I am curious about the sociocultural, political and intergenerational context of people's lives.

I look forward to hearing from you.
